§ 26-12. Authority of city manager to alter speed limits.

Pursuant to the authority of § 46.2-1300, Code of Virginia, the city manager is authorized to increase or decrease the speed limit within the city, provided such increase or decrease in speed shall be based upon an engineering and traffic investigation by the traffic engineer and provided that such speed zone is clearly indicated by markers or signs.
