§ 22-3. Appointment and qualifications of director of libraries and information services and assistants.

The city manager shall appoint a director of libraries and information services; and such director may appoint assistants, subject to the approval of the city manager. The qualifications necessary for the position of director or approved assistant shall be determined by the city manager, with the advice and recommendations of the library board.
