§ 21.1-2. Unlawful discriminatory practice defined.

Conduct which violates any city ordinance prohibiting discrimination, any Virginia statute or regulation governing discrimination, Title 7 of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as amended, or the Fair Labor Standards Act on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, marital status or disability shall be an "unlawful discriminatory practice" for the purposes of this chapter.
