§ 15-72. Nomination of candidates for members of the school board.

Candidates for members of the school board shall be qualified voters of the city and residents of the election district for which they seek office. Candidates shall file their notice of candidacy and be nominated only by petition in the manner prescribed by law for non-party candidates and not by caucus, primary, convention or other party affiliated proceeding.
