§ 9.01. Establishment of position; appointment; term; qualifications; powers and duties.

The council may appoint a city auditor for a four-year term. He shall be qualified by training and experience for the duties of his office, and shall have supervision and control of the person-nel in his department. The city auditor's duties and responsibilities shall be those set out by council in an ordinance.
