§ 27.17. Water, sewerage and sewage disposal systems.

The consolidated city shall acquire all of the rights, privileges, and liabilities of the former City of Newport News, and the former City of Warwick respective to the law under which its interest in any water supply system and any sewage disposal systems have been and are being installed, and all rights and privileges granted by the Commonwealth of Virginia or by the United States of America to the former Cities of Newport News and Warwick.
