§ 27.13. Notary public.

  • All certificates of acknowledgments to deeds and other writings taken and certified by a Notary Public or other officer originally duly authorized to take acknowledgments in the former City of Newport News, and the former City of Warwick, prior to the normal expiration date of the commission of such Notary Public or other officer, are declared to be valid to the same extent they would have been valid as if such Notary Public or other officers had been commissioned for the Consolidated City.
